Mr James Webb is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based in the North East of England.
Mr Webb has worked as a consultant, in both the NHS and private sectors since 2011. Prior to this he trained at Newcastle medical school and worked as a junior doctor in the North East of England. Specialising in complex and revision (redo) hip replacements and knee replacements, Mr Webb is also a pioneer of Robotic Assisted Surgery in the North East of England.

Finding the right treatments for your hip and knee problems through the NHS can be frustrating. Mr Webb is able to offer advice and treatment as either a self-pay or privately insured patient. He can usually see you within days at a time that suits, and any surgery can be arranged within weeks. Clinics run between 8am -8pm.
A Comprehensive Service
Mr Webb offers a range of treatments for hip and knee problems, ranging from keyhole surgery for soft tissue knee problems, to joint replacement surgery, to redo (revision) treatment of failed hip and knee replacements. Surgery is only one of the options available in lots of cases, and Mr Webb offers individual and impartial advice to people looking to explore the options available to them.
Robotic Assisted Surgery
Mr Webb is excited to be introducing Robotic Assisted Surgery in the North East of England. Robot Assisted Surgery aims to improve the accuracy and reliability of joint replacement, aiming to position the new artificial implants in the optimal position every time.
